Categories
Membership Grades
ITS Malaysia offers several membership categories to suit individuals and organizations across the transport industry.
Ordinary
A person with interest, experience or practice in land transport, ITS sectors, ICT or road engineering who wishes to be actively involved in promoting the science and practice of ITS.
Corporate
A professional institution, association, firm, company, organisation or body whose activities include the science and practice of road engineering, land transport, ITS sectors, ICT or related commercial activities.
Life
A person with interest, experience or practice in land transport, ITS, ICT or road engineering, or any elected ordinary member. One-time upfront payment with no annual subscription required.
Associate
A person keenly interested in the science and practice of road engineering but not eligible for election to other grades of membership.
Student
A person currently enrolled full time in an institution of higher learning in Malaysia and interested in the science and practice of ITS. Valid Student ID required.
Honorary
A person of outstanding eminence and long experience who has contributed outstanding services to ITS Malaysia. Elected by recommendation of the Council and approval by members.

Fee Structure Note
First year: New members pay the Entrance Fee + Annual Subscription (e.g. Ordinary = RM 50 + RM 50 = RM 100).
Subsequent years: Only the Annual Subscription is payable each year. Life and Honorary members have no recurring fees.
