Overview
ITS Malaysia participated in the 20th Suwon ITS Asia‑Pacific Forum 2025, a regional gathering focused on future mobility technologies including C‑ITS, automated driving, MaaS, digital twins and UAM. The forum brought together government leaders, industry experts and innovators to strengthen Asia‑Pacific cooperation.
Strategic Leadership
- Deputy President Ts. Mohd Sharulnizam Sarip joined the Executive Session “Exploring Current Status and Future Strategies on ITS in Asia.”
- Secretary General Ir. Mohd Fairuz bin Muhamad presented “Beyond The Red and Green: Exploring the Capabilities of Smart Traffic Lights in Malaysia,” receiving 2nd Place for Best Paper Award.
Moving Forward
The collaboration with regional partners strengthened Malaysia’s global positioning and supports preparations for the 2026 ITS World Congress in Gangneung.
